Almond buttercream by Lush cosmetics.
If you have read my review about the heavenly bodies buttercream then you will know how much I fell in love with these products.
I was lucky enough to be able to snap up another heavenly bodies and also an almond buttercream!
These are lush kitchen items only. Which in itself is devastating. If you have never tried any of the lush buttercreams before I urge you to try and get your hands on one.
Now from the get go I thought this was like a body butter. One you used after your bath or shower. Something that moisturised your skin. I was wrong very wrong.
The buttercream is to be used at any point of your bath or shower. My advise would be to use right at the end. Scoop out a hand full and simply smear your body with all of its amazing goodness.
In this we have coconut oil, rapeseed oil, almond butter, sweet wild orange oil, lime oil, Cinnamon leaf oil, Mandarin oil, aloe vera and ground almond shells.
As you can see this buttercream is packed full of amazing skin loving goodness. The coconut oil is utterly awesome for your skin. The mandarin-orange and lime oils all add the sweet and zingy scent. And the ground almond shells acts an exfoliating property which gets rid of dead skin.
It’s a very thick consistency. Just like buttercream you would eat! NO don’t eat it. As much as you may want to please don’t. I don’t think it would taste as nice as it smells.
Once you have finished coating your skin simply rinse off. You will instantly notice how soft your skin is. The smell lingers on your skin for a good few hours after. Not as long as the heavenly bodies buttercream but it still smells amazing.
Seriously lush you need to make a lot more lush products permanent!
Over all I would give this a 9/10. I’d love the scent to stick with me a little longer.
Unfortunately this probably won’t be for sale for a while now. With it being a kitchen item it’s only brought out now and again. But keep your eyes peeled!! Or you could just mither lush to bring it back sooner!
